After studying 4,000 users, YouGov Dongle Tracker survey, a quarterly survey regarding the quality of broadband service providers, found Orange to be the best service provider. The survey is approximately one and a half years old and Orange has been voted best for two consecutive times.
Users voted Orange the best service provider in categories like ease of use and value for money. This is because Orange has new software that prompts users when they are coming close to their broadband limit and thus helps in managing their usage. Further, the users do not end up overusing or overpaying, as there is an automatic cap introduced which does not let them overpay more than £40 every month.
According to Asif Aziz, the Director of Broadband and Home at Orange UK, the survey result is definitely an achievement for the company. Aziz said that the company has always believed in and tried to provide good services consistently. Customers also get good value for their money and do not have to spend too much, as basic packages start from as low as £5 per month.
As a part of its advertising campaign, Orange has stated that it is the company with the largest network, though this has been challenged by 3 and a grievance has been filed on this issue before the Advertising Standards Authority.
