Lady Gaga Has Been Approached by Bosses to Sing the Theme Song for the Subsequent 007 Movie
Lady Gaga has been approached by bosses to sing the theme song for the subsequent 007 movie. Lady Gaga has been approached to record the theme to the following Bond movie. The singing star has seen her song Telephone featuring Beyonce become one of the most viewed music videos of the last few years.
The ‘Telephone’ frontman has been asked to submit a track for the following instalment of the English spy flick franchise, starring Daniel Craig. A source informed the Sun paper : “The Bond bosses are all massive Gaga fans. Her sound and sense of drama make her the top choice. “Gaga has the look as well as the voice to take on a roaring ballad. She is a great composer too. This is ideal on each level. ” If Gaga is selected to record the title track she would be following in the steps of her idol Madonna, who recorded the theme for 2002 007 picture ‘Die Another Day’, as well as making a cameo in the movie – something Gaga is bound to be ardent on. The tune ‘Die Another Day’ went on to end up being one of the most successful themes in the series’ history. Gaga won’t be the sole artist in the running to lend their gifts to the soundtrack for the film – which is still to be given a title and meanwhile is being called ‘Bond twenty-three’. Bosses typically ask one or two music stars to submit tracks and then pick which one is most suitable. Amy Winehouse – who was initially in the running to record the theme to the last instalment ‘Quantum of Solace’ – and crooner Michael Buble are also in the frame. The subsequent Bond picture is about to be directed by Sam Mendes, and is anticipated to be released next year.
